情報電気電子工学専攻人間環境情報講座准教授。
博士（工学）。熊本大学工学部卒業。熊本大学大学院自然科学研究科博士
後期課程修了後，熊本大学工学部助手。専門は音声科学・画像処理工学。
Kohichi OGATA was born in Kumamoto, Japan, in 1967. He received the B. Eng., M. Eng. and Ph.D. degrees in
Engineering from Kumamoto University, Kumamoto, Japan, in 1989, 1991, and 1994, respectively.
He is currently an associate professor of Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering,
Graduate School of Science and Technology, Kumamoto University. He is a member of the Institute of Electronics,
Information and Communication Engineers (IEICE), the Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan (IEEJ),
the Acoustical Society of Japan (ASJ), and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
